German quality measurement technology for the highest demands

for in-process, pre- and post-process applications.
MEITEC measurement technology is used nationally and internationally in production processes in the automotive and automotive supply industries, as well as in numerous other industries where precision is critical, such as the watch, cutting tool, and bearing industries.
Applications
Flat finishing
MEITEC in-process measurement points monitor and control finishing processes for the final machining of internal and external flat surfaces, with or without interruption.
In order to assess the incoming and/or final quality of workpieces, these are often combined with pre- and post-measurement stations.
Double disk flat- / brake disk- / flat grinding
MEITEC in-process technology is used in particular for double-sided or single-sided grinding of workpieces – both with and without interruptions – in combination with post-process measurement points for monitoring grinding removal and/or tool wear.
MEITEC technologies are also used for double-sided machining of the friction ring surfaces of brake disks.
Ball finishing
MEITEC in-process measurement points ensure optimum processes when machining balls and spherical caps for industrial or medical purposes, among other things. The materials could not be more different: Steel, ceramics, various alloy materials.
MEITEC in-process measurement points are often combined with integrated impact evaluation.
External / internal cylindrical grinding
MEITEC diameter measurement heads and positioning measurement heads form the in-process or post-process measurement points for grinding external diameters of various shaft or bearing rollers (steel or ceramic), as well as internal diameters of injection nozzles and other workpieces with internal cylindrical surfaces. Depending on the application, additional functions such as cylinder error compensation, chamfer or imbalance detection are used.
Post-process measurement points / automatic measurement machines / centerless grinding
MEITEC measurement technology is used in various post-process measurement points:
In the workpiece transfer of centerless grinding machines or as a measurement station within processing cells or automatic classifiers.
